Beijing Airport Parking
All the information featured on this page was compiled and written by David Enrich, a renowned expert in aviation and airport guides since 1999.
Beijing Capital International Airport offers several parking facilities located near the terminals, providing convenient options for short-term drop-offs, long-term stays, and bus parking. The airport currently operates four main parking garages (P1, P2, P3 and P5) with thousands of spaces for private vehicles, taxis, and buses. Most parking areas are within walking distance of the terminals, while others connect directly to terminal buildings through pedestrian access points.
During peak travel seasons or holidays in China, parking areas near the terminals can fill quickly. Arriving early or using long-term parking zones can save time.
Parking Garage 1 (P1)
Parking Garage 1 is located in front of Terminal 1, on the south side of the terminal area. Although Terminal 1 no longer operates independently, the parking facility continues to serve nearby airport areas and auxiliary terminal operations.
The garage offers approximately 700 parking spaces and accommodates both small private vehicles and larger vehicles such as minibuses. A designated taxi parking area is also located nearby.
This parking area is suitable for short-term parking, pick-ups, and overnight stays.
Rates
Small vehicles (less than 19 seats)
- First 15 minutes: RMB 2.5
- Long-term parking: RMB 80 per day
Large vehicles (more than 19 seats)
- First 15 minutes: RMB 5
- Long-term parking: RMB 160 per day
If you are picking up passengers, short stays of only a few minutes can be very inexpensive.
Parking Garage 2 (P2)
Parking Garage 2 is located directly in front of Terminal 2 and is one of the largest parking facilities at the airport. It provides more than 4,300 parking spaces, including 20 spaces reserved for passengers with reduced mobility.
The structure has six levels:
- 2 above-ground floors
- 4 underground floors
To improve traffic flow, the parking garage features 16 entry and exit points, with additional access points on the second floor.
Special access routes are provided for larger vehicles:
- Super-high minibuses: entrance via Exit No. 6 (1st floor)
- Large buses: access via the 2nd floor entrance
This parking facility is particularly convenient for travelers departing from Terminal 2 domestic flights.

Underground levels usually have more available spaces during busy hours.
Parking Garage 3 (P3)
Parking Garage 3 is the closest parking facility to Terminal 3, which handles most international flights and Air China operations. With over 4,300 parking spaces, it is one of the busiest parking areas at the airport.
The garage includes designated accessible parking spaces and multiple zones designed for different parking durations.
Parking zones
Basement Level 1
- Zones B, C, D, and E
- Zones B and C are typically used for short-term parking
- Zones D and E are recommended for long-term stays
Basement Level 2
- Zone H dedicated mainly to extended parking
A major advantage of this parking structure is its direct connection to the Airport Express railway station, located on the second floor, which links passengers with Terminal 3 departures and arrivals.
Additional facilities in the area include:
- Shops and services
- Administrative offices
- Police office
Location: South of Terminal 3

Parking Garage 5 (P5)
Parking Garage 5 is a smaller facility located south of Terminal 1, next to Parking Garage 1. Despite its smaller size, it still provides more than 125 parking spaces for both private cars and larger vehicles.
The facility includes:
- Reserved spaces for passengers with disabilities
- Overnight parking areas
- 4 entry points and 4 exit points for smooth traffic flow
Because it is less busy than the main parking structures, it can sometimes be easier to find available spaces here.
